Research and Case Competition

Charisma. Intellect. Wit.

Malaysian Medics International (MMI) invites medics from around the world to submit abstracts for the Research and Case Presentation Competition in Malaysian Medical Summit 2018.

This is an opportunity for doctors and medical students alike to share your research with colleagues who are actively aligning ethics, law, society, and policy with advances in medicine.

We welcome abstracts of both clinical and non-clinical natures related to the field of medicine. Medics at all career stages are encouraged to submit one or more abstracts.

We are pleased to be partnering with MedShr to run the case competition this year. MedShr is a clinical discussion platform and fantastic learning tool for medical students. It’s like Instagram – but for clinical cases!

Research Competition: JULY 21, 2018 AT 11.30 P.M. EDT.
Case Competition: AUGUST 17, 2018 AT 11.30 P.M. EDT.

This is a firm deadline! Incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted.

Research submissions – through the abstract submission form here.

Clinical vignette (long case) submissions – join our group on MedShr and submit a clinical case – multiple entries are welcome.

Individual submissions only.

Certificates will be given to presenters for poster and oral presentations during MMS 2018.

For your research abstract, if necessary, please do send us a PDF version of your abstract including charts, images or text formatting essential for the viewing process on our email-

No submission fee is required, and it is NO LONGER compulsory to purchase a ticket for the summit to submit an abstract!

You will only be required to purchase a ticket once your abstract is selected for presentation during the summit.

If your abstract is not chosen for the Research Presentation Competition, you can still exhibit your research poster at our exhibition (& possibly to peers that are interested in the topic), all you need to do is get a ticket for MMS 2018 here!
